THE CHALLENGE

Supply chain and logistics are costly yet critical parts of a business. Not only are they cost sensitive, but they are also time sensitive. While advancements have been made in terms of digitization, and collaboration has boosted both productivity and efficiency, there is still room for improvement.

One particular issue that still raises costs and emissions is handling last-mile deliveries in remote areas, which often constitutes the most expensive part of the shipping process due to its fragmented and labor-intensive nature. Delivery vehicles are often dispatched with only partially filled loads, leading to inefficiencies and waste.
